Caribou Coffee – Free Wi-Fi

So this past weekend, we went to North Carolina, and stopped into a Caribou Coffee shop for a very nice Iced Americano; in fact I went back a few times it was so good. I was also happy to see that they offered free Wi-Fi access in their store. The program was announced late last month as they are rolling it out nationally. The program is not an invitation to hang out and SPAM people all day on Caribou’s dime. Instead offer the first hour free, then asks you to at least buy a $1.50’s worth of goods, or roughly a cup of coffee, for the next hour’s surfing time. Not bad; my Iced Americano would have bought me at least 3 hours of surfing time, but I hardly used it, I had other stuff to do.
