Review: Hershey's Special Dark Espresso Flavored Chocolate Bar

So I ran across this limited edition Hershey’s Special Dark Espresso flavored chocolate bar in the store yesterday. Since I tried the Caribou Coffee Granola Bars and like them a lot I thought I would give this a try. I mean come on, chocolate and coffee flavors are made to go together, right? Well, this bar is Espresso flavored, and does not have any coffee in it; I was a little disappointed in the coffee flavor too. It tasted more like “old coffee” than a nice espresso, or even those Caribou Granola bars. So, if you like Dark Chocolate, and mediocre coffee flavors, give it a try. If not, steer clear and let someone else buy it. (Glad it's a limited edition!)

Where we are all we have seen are the Special Dark Espresso Kisses, and they are a terrific product. Oh! that smell. They are hard to find, so when we do, we buy all we can. Great product....Please don't make it "limited". Keep em comin Hersheys. You have done a great job this year with all your Special Darks. Thanks!

Oh...my....God. This is the best chocolate bar I've ever tasted in my entire life. I love dark chocolate and I love coffee so when I saw this I just had to buy it. Then, the regular stores stopped selling it because I guess it was a limited edition. Then I was so sad because I couldn't find any kind of chocolate that tasted the same. Then one day I was at the dollar tree and I saw that they had about 500 of them! I guess that's where all of the limited editions go when their time is up. I just don't know what I'm going to do when the dollar tree stops selling them. Hopefully Hershey's will bring it back.
