Review: DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Machine Arrives for Review
The
DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Machine arrived for review today so we could put it through its paces here at SingleServeEspresso.com. The DeLonghi EC155 is a pump driven espresso machine that has a portafilter that holds both ground espresso and ESE Pods; love those ESE pods for fast easy espresso. The machine boasts a 15-bar self-priming pump, a stainless steel 1,000-watt heating unit and a frothing wand out the side that makes steaming milk a breeze. The promo material talks a good crèma here on this machine, so let’s hope we aren’t disappointed. The unit has a 35-ounce water tank, which should be plenty to keep the espressos moving in this house. The dial on the front is to turn it on or off as well as selecting the brew or steam function. Pretty easy to understand, eh?

The plan is to use some Starbucks ESE Espresso Pods and maybe some Lavazza Grand Crema ESE Espresso Pods for this review. The Lavazza pods are still a favorite around the SingleServeEspresso.com test kitchens.
