Illy and the Future of Espresso
If you want a decent overview of the Illy company, where it’s going and where it’s been, you should check out the NYT article looking at the company, and the founder’s grandson who is now running the company, Andrea Illy. Illy is pushing to gain back its heritage a bit by driving for more high end espresso bars, called Espressamente, and constantly selling high end cup collections designed by the world’s best designers.
