I'm not sure why you're covering this machine again without reporting what's changed -- the price. It has dropped in price by $50. I have this machine and a Nespresso. The Nespresso is very good and I still drink about three cups of Ristretto a week, but the Illy blows it away, especially the medium roast. The Illy cartridges cost more than the Nespresso cartridges. Now if I could only get my hands on a Modo Mio I'd be set.
Illy does make good coffee but be very careful when joining their club. I made the mistake of doing this a year ago and soon found that I had more coffee than I could drink in a year at my door every month. On top of that the machine broke and when I asked to get it fixed they said they could not upon which I quit their club although it took several letters and calls
I've heard that these Illy machines tastes batter than the Nespresso, but I couldn't find a place to try them. Also, they only come in few flavors (like 3?) compared to the nespresso. So, I bought the Nespresso machine because at lease I can at least taste it before I buy...
