What's Your Favorite Coffee Mug?

Intensely personal, and a bit of a billboard for our lives, your own coffee mug is more than a functional container to hold the coffee. Most people I know pick a mug or two, and stick with them, liking the feel, size, look or statement that they make when drinking out of them.

I happen to be drinking out of this Gimmie Coffee mug; my favorite right now, for my drip coffee at work (we have a pod system there). Sure it's different and takes a bit of getting used to in order to drink out of the side of the mug, but on these cold New England mornings, there is no better way to drink out of this thing than to cup it with both hands and sip out of the front of the mug.

I also never tire of telling people about one of the best little coffee roasters and coffee shops in the world - Gimmie Coffee.

Sure you can get one of these David Pier type mugs elsewhere, but you'll need the Gimmie Coffee logo to have one as cool as this one.

Revol Pill Espresso Cups - His and Hers

I don't know here, not exactly your standard espresso cup set, but certainly an interesting one and certainly a conversation starter. These cups can sit and look like a huge Tylenol capsule sitting on the counter - could just be a cool bit of counter art. On the other hand it might just be the perfect cure for a hangover.

Made of porcelain, dishwasher safe, 2.75 ounces. Imported from France.

Nigella Lawson Espresso Cups

For the UK, Nigella Lawson probably doesn't need much introduction, but for those of us from the US, we need to think of her as a younger Martha Stewart. An accomplished critic, and cookbook author, she also has her own TV show and now has her own cookware line. From that line, we find the Nigella Lawson espresso cups, an interesting design that keeps with the egg shape of the rest of the line. Not only is it visually appealing, but very functional. The extra space is a great place to hold some petit fours, or maybe a cookie for the rest of us. The cups come in three colors, black, cream and blue.

Art Kept Me out of Jail - Espresso Cups

Jan Fabre espresso cups are always fun to see or look at; the designer of the classic Illy espresso mug. His current cup was so popular, it is currently out of stock. The message is clear, and I am sure well received around the world by others with a similar realization.
