Nuova Point Tulip Shaped Espresso Cups - Welcome in the Spring

NuovaPointYellowEspressoCup
It's springtime and if it weren't for the cold weather up here in the Northeast, I'd feel like celebrating. Well, I thought I would go find an espresso cup that was worth the celebration for the new season, and today I bring you the Nuova Point Tulip Shaped espresso demitasse cup and saucer set that comes in a springtime yellow color. Certainly a festive summertime style cup. If you don't like the brightly colored yellow version they also have a more classic brown.

Illy Pistoletto Foundation Cup Collection

illyPistoletto%2Cjpeg.jpeg

Illy is well known for their espresso cup collections. The Illy Pistoletto collection is designed by several artists around the central theme of socially meaningful messages.

  • Blue - Centers on the idea that the sky, nature and man all work together in harmony.
  • White - Communication is key and this cup has the Italian sign language on the cup and saucer.
  • Orange- The banding of orange and a metallic look asks you if you see the cup as half full or half empty.
  • Yellow - Brings to mind the fast pace of life in cars and highways, while keeping in mind the balance of how these items play with the environment.

    Livestrong Mugs

    Livestrongmug.jpg
Lance Armstrong seems to be everywhere even after the man is a year and a half into his "retirement". While he's not on the bike so much anymore and in front of the rest of the pack in the Tour de France, he is in front of a lot of people working earnestly for helping those with cancer. Well, you can start your morning with a warm Livestrong Mug of coffee. 10% of proceeds go to Livestrong.

Bodum Pavina Espresso Glasses with Caribou Logo

    glasstumbler.jpg
I'm a pretty big fan of my Pavina espresso glasses made by Bodum. The double walled glass keeps the coffee hot while my fingers are cool. If you're a big fan of Caribou Coffee, you can grab a pair of these with the logo right on them.

    The Nespresso Lungo Set

    NespressoLungo.jpg
Here’s a great way to share coffee and a snack, the Nespresso Lungo set that offers a 110 ml cup and a broad saucer for serving a little snack on the side. I like the built in snacking saucer/plate that can serve some biscotti or scones while sipping your favorite espresso based drink.

Blackboard Mugs - The Perfect Teacher Gift

    backboardmugs.jpg

I put these up a while ago, but a couple of readers wrote in saying how much they liked them. I thought I would pass them along again and mention that it's time to think about gifts for the kids teachers! The mugs are made so you can write on them with chalk, so you can craft whatever design or message you want. The chalk washes off in the dishwasher. We're going to fill ours with some fun candy treats and wrap it in cellophane after the kids draw a special design on it.
